Chapter 8 of Ansel Adams - America's Photographer by Beverely Gehrman describes Adams capturing one of his most famous images. We were intrigued by his nearly 30 year effort of make a print that captured the scene as he visualized it.

We have a number of books of his photos and in each one the picture appears a little different. I copied three different version I found on the internet. They show subtle and no so subtle differences.

I wonder which is closest to Adams visualization.
